FOR SOUTH CAROLINA K-12 SCHOOLS
GRANT-FUNDED SCHOOL SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS
Helping First Responders Find the Right Door Without Delay
In an emergency, law enforcement and medical teams often arrive at unfamiliar campuses with dozens of identical doors and windows. Even with trained responders on scene, confusion over entry points can cost critical time.
Schools are not failing—the system wasn’t designed for rapid, coordinated response across agencies.
The Challenge Schools Face During Emergencies
Precision-A.C.T.S., in partnership with the Woodson Center, is deploying grant funding directly into South Carolina schools to close a critical gap in emergency response: first responder navigation and rapid access.
The Woodson Center Community Safety Project
